Veras' boosters are slim yet highly absorbent inserts. They are used when the regular diaper inserts aren't sufficient, and the diaper needs that extra absorbing boost. This could be for everyday use, during longer car trips, outings, or especially during the nighttime. Veras' boosters are excellent for nighttime diapers and are compatible with all diaper types.

For the best results, boosters can be placed between two inserts to ensure they stay in place.

What's the difference between boosters and inserts?

Boosters are smaller than inserts and don't occupy as much space in the diaper. This ensures that the diaper doesn't become overly bulky when using a booster, compared to using an additional insert. While a booster can't absorb as much as a full-sized insert, it provides a significant increase in the diaper's absorption capability. Boosters are placed right where the urine hits the diaper, whereas an insert covers the entire interior of the diaper.

Hemp or Bamboo?

There are some differences between the characteristics of hemp and bamboo, which we've listed here:

Hemp:

• Absorbs a lot but at a slower rate
• Is thinner
• Slightly rougher texture

Bamboo:

• Absorbs quickly but a bit less overall
• Slightly thicker
• Incredibly soft

Hemp: 55% hemp, 45% organic cotton
Bamboo: 70% bamboo, 30% cotton

Remember, hemp products need several washes to achieve their full absorption potential. However, they can still be used after just one wash.
